Mother nature finally saw our snow dance it seems, delivering 24cm of fresh snow last night and snowing non stop all day today. It is forecast to snow for the next 3 days so the weekend is looking absolutely tip top. The natural snow depth has reached around 40cm already, and with a top of -2 today winter has hit Hotham with a blast. This is an early call but I'm starting to write out the invitations for the one metre party - surely it's just around the corner! I'd better have a chat to Huey and get it organised. :-)
Out on the slopes today there were many happy people enjoying the fresh conditions. The snow was good, fresh stuff covered our tracks and not even the chilly chairlift rides could dampen our spirits. With another 30cm or so predicted for the weekend, things are looking special... grab your sticks and get out there.
