Mountain Fresh Festival is a food and wine experience with altitude!  The program has something for everyone so make sure you head to one of our cosy participating venues and indulge in delicious food and wine brought up from the Alpine valleys. Â
The grand opening is on Friday 23rd July at Jack Frost from 5:00 â 7:00pm (Village Map Reference L5) and to kick things off Blues musician Ben Smith will set the scene for a night of great treats. There will be amazing tasting platters of local produce, local wine and beer and lucky door prizes. This will be sure to get you in the groove for the weekend!
âMeet Your Makerâ Masterclass and Dinner is one of the special treats on the program. Held at Blakes @ Zirkyâs on Monday 26th July, it includes a master class, wine matching dinner and a book signing. The event will be hosted by wine critic Greg Duncan Powell and he will discuss the trends in ânew varietiesâ in wine.
The Mountain Fresh Top Chef challenge is a must do at the festival. Come and see our talented chefs cook off against each other creating their own Mountain Fresh Dish using regional produce. See the winner unveiled on Wednesday 28th July at Rundells Alpine Lodge Dinner Plain.
