The Bread and Butters Rail Jam kicked the A la Carte in the Park Series off to a great start yesterday afternoon with participants showing off their best tricks and setting a high standard for the season ahead.
This first entrée was a fantastic way to welcome the snow and celebrate the opening of the Basin Rail Park and the sensational start to season 2012. Carter Mills impressed the judges the most out of the male grommet snowboarders and Georgia Mylonas took home gold for the girls. Charlie Mills showed off notable skiing tricks taking first place for the male grommet skiers and Cody Johnson was number one for the adult skiers! It was close competition with skiers and boarders in both heats showing they’ve got what it takes to make it in the park. Download the full list of results here.
Hotham’s Park Crew are gearing up for the Cheese and Crackered Rail Jam which takes place next Saturday July 14. The second entrée to the A la Carte in the Park Series could raise the bar even higher so be sure to come down to the Basin Rail Park and check it out. If you’re keen on joining in, pre-registration will be at the Events Desk located next to the Hotham Central Tickets counter on the day.
