September just keeps getting better at Hotham with another 7cm of fresh flakes falling overnight. The snow gods have been kind to us and we have been lucky enough to receive more snowfall than any of our neighbours!
Chilly overnight temps has allowed for snowmaking to continue taking Hotham’s snowmaking tally for this season to a total of 195,438.8 cubic metres. That is enough to cover the surface of the MCG with 9.6m of snow and Hotham’s total snowmaking area with an average of 78 cm.
Cloud cover is about the resort this morning with plenty of people joining in the action of the Australian Children’s Championships on Snake Gully where Australia’s best young ski racers are competing in GS and SL disciplines.
The Big D Colloseum (between CFA and Big D lift line) will play host to the Roast Leg of Air – Big Air Competition today. It will be sure to surprise and thrill with a 40ft and 20ft kicker. Competition starts at 3.30pm. Plus catch the after party at the General from 8pm.
With great snow and plenty of action both on and off the slopes make sure you grab your Spring Season Pass and ski or ride everyday until the end of the season for less! Prices start from $399 per adult, $299 for a secondary student and $199 per child. Available at Hotham Central Tickets or click here to order your pass online.
