It was exciting times at Hotham Airport today, when the first QantasLink flight arrived for 2009.
At just after 1.15pm this afternoon the first flight from Sydney arrived at Hotham Airport. An almost full plane disembarked smoothly, as Hotham ground crew activated their landing procedures for the first time since 2007.
The first scheduled flight on Friday was diverted to Albury due to the huge snow storm which delivered over 1/2 a metre of snow over 48 hours. Guests heading back to Sydney were excited to be heading home direct from Hotham, after enjoying the benefits of the recent snowfalls.
