The Hotham Kids Snowzone has undergone extensive renovations at the Big D over the past two summers to improve facilities for the MILO Mighty Mites ski school program. As a result of these changes the age groups for participation in kids snowsports school programs have changed slightly.
The MILO Mighty Mites program has changed from children aged 3-6 years to cater to 3-5 year olds and the MILO Kids Klub program will now cater to children aged 6-14 years.
This change will benefit the 6 year olds whom we believe will be better catered to in the Kids Klub programs. They are in the middle developmental stage of learning and have different needs from 3 - 5 year olds.
The change now allows the Mighty Mites program to be run exclusively on the ground level of the building; whilst the Kids Klub meets outside the Big D from 9.15am. Children attending Kids Klub will now have exclusive use of the upper level of the Big D building for MILO and lunch breaks throughout the day.
These changes will be effective as of Monday 6 July.
