It's a wild and wintery afternoon at Hotham Alpine Resort as we watch the storm coming in full force.
Snow is falling in the Adelaide Hills and temperatures are plummeting across the southern states. Weather forecasts now predict that up to 20cm of snow will fall on Wednesday down to 1400 metres, another 20cm on Thursday down to 1200 metres and 10cm on Friday with falls down to 1100 metres. Exciting news for everyone!
The keen skiers and riders here for school holidays have been braving the tough conditions - full marks to them for their enthusiasm. Many others have taken this opportunity to enjoy the indoor school holiday activities, day spa treatments and dining options.
We look forward to hopefully reporting to you from a snow covered winter wonderland soon!
