The second main course in the Hotham A La Carte in the Park series was dished up on the Road Runner Rider-X course yesterday.
Twenty-four snowboarders and fifty-six skiers competed head-to-head in their divisions to be crowned the 2011 Rider-X champions in all twelve categories.
Local rider Alex Lockie took the top podium in the Ladies Open Snowboard category while fellow Hotham rider Richie Patterson won first place for the Men’s Open Snowboard division.
Local Bright family – the Donahue’s – made it a family affair with Dad Wayne placing fourth in the Open Men’s Ski category, daughter Lucy winning the Junior Ladies Ski division and son Matthew placing fourth in the Junior Men’s Ski category.
A strong representation from the Hotham Race Club saw podium places go to Lexxy Brial, Arkie Patten and Georgia Young in the Ladies Grommet Ski category along with Lachie Nunn, Lauchie Hofbauer and Chris Chalkiadis in the Men’s Grommet Ski division.
Winners were hooked up with great prizes from 3CS, POC, Hot Doggies and Chill Bar!
