Snow, snow and more snow! The weekend has been wild at Mt Hotham dumping around 40cm of snow across the resort. With the temperature sitting at a chilly -4, it definitely feels like winter is back in the mountains. There is snow three quartres of the way down the Harrietville approach and the Great Alpine Road, so if you want to come up for a healthy snowball fight, or you are keen enough to hike out for the first fresh tracks of 2009, take care on the road, don't forget to pack your wheel chains and make sure you rug up, it is literally freezing up here!
