Hotham is pleased to announce that our new PB400 free grooming machine has arrived on the mountain this afternoon ready to get to work at grooming perfect corduroy for you to make fresh turns this winter.
The addition of this new state of the art machine to our Kassbohrer fleet will ensure Hotham continues to deliver quality groomed runs all-season long. Today completes a long journey from the Kassbohrer Pisten Bully factory in Germany.
The new machine has been purchased to replace an older Kassbohrer. With both increased horsepower and modern blade functions, it is sure to deliver better groomed and prepared corduroy pistes for our guests.
General Manager of Operations, Len Dobell says, “Hotham and Kassbohrer have had a relationship over many years with the supply of many snowgrooming machines. I am pleased that this continues with the purchase of the new PB400 free-groomer, a first for Australia as I understand it. I expect that Hotham and the guests will benefit immensely with improved preparation and groomed terrain within the resort”.
