Dusting of Snow at Hotham - 5/3/09

Dusting of Snow at Hotham - 5/3/09

A light dusting of snow tells us winter is on its way!

From extreme heat to now chilling temperatures as the season moves from summer into autumn... the winter weather is heading Hotham's way.

Waking to falling snowflakes is a gorgeous suprise no matter what time of year, but when you have to put everything on in your wardrobe to keep warm a thought quickly passes through one's head - it's not winter yet??

With only 13 weeks until the season we've had quite a range of weather so far. Only early this week Tony Kewish, Hotham's Snowmaking Manager, captured these amazing rainbow images. He claims the pot of gold is hidden at the top of the summit.... we're just hoping that he brings it back to the office... "Tony?....Tony?"

Stay warm and we look forward to seeing you on the slopes in the not too distant future!
