This Thursday 28 July a charity football match will take place between the Dinner Plain Demons and the Omeo/Benambra football club. AFL football legends Peter McKenna, David Cloke, Wayne Walsh and Barry Bourke will offer some expert coaching advice to the teams as they battle it out in the name of glory, fun and fundraising.
The game will be held at the Omeo Football Oval, kicking off at 7.00pm and with pre-match drinks from 6.00pm.
Community fundraisers such as this event enable the hospital to keep equipment updated and therefore offer the best possible care when needed. The Omeo hospital not only serves the local community but also visitors to the region such as guests who come to Hotham for a holiday who require special medical attention.
Christians Bus Company will provide a service from Dinner Plain to Omeo for the event on Thursday, departing from the Dinner Plain Hotel at 4.45pm.
Come along, have a cheer, join in the fun and support the worthy cause.
