The Peter Canning Cup annual football match is back this year on Friday 27 July with Dinner Plain and Hotham up against Omeo for the title. To kick things off this year, the girls are getting involved with a netball match from 6pm and the football match will start at 7pm at the Omeo Football Ground. Celebrity football coaches include Wayne Walsh, Stephen Powell, Guy Rigoni and Melbourne great Robert Flower.
All player positions have been filled but everyone is welcome to come down and cheer Hotham and Dinner Plain on! Entry is via a gold coin donation and all proceeds will go towards the Omeo Hospital and Motor Neurone Disease. Go to www.visitdinnerplain.com for more information.
