Snowflakes have started to fall at Hotham this morning with a current temperature of -0.7 degrees and a windchill factor of -6.2 degrees.
Heavy snow flurries are in the forecast for this week with a possible 20-30cm of snow expected to fall tomorrow! According to the weatherman, snow will continue to fall into the weekend down to about 1600 metres with a minimum temperature of -4 degrees in the next few days.
Fingers crossed lots of snow will cover the ground this week, turning this beautiful landscape white and getting us all ready for skiing and snowboarding!
With only 16 sleeps to go until the snow season officially opens, it’s time to start thinking about Chucking a Snowie… Why not plan your getaway now? Visit www.chuckasnowie.com.au to find out more.
Photos will be posted as the snow continues to fall.
