This year’s Spring Carnival is bigger and better than ever! Events are running from Wednesday 22 – Sunday 26 September. Bring the family up to Hotham and join in the fun! The September snow is piled high and the spring weather is superb. The Spring Carnival will officially launch on Wednesday night with the fireworks spectacular at the Summit.
Throughout the Spring Carnival there is something for everyone. Snow Cricket, Mega Nintendo Wii nights, Yoga, Snow Volleyball, Park Tips, BBQs, nights out, and of course that beautiful spring snow. For those keen snow bunnies, fresh track can be all yours with Heavenly Valley open everyday of the Spring Carnival from 7.30am. Other daily attractions include; Mega Nintendo Wii Tent, Snow Sculpture Competition, Heineken Race Your Mates, Kids’ Treasure Hunt and more!
Catch Grand Final fever and play or watch the Snow Footy match at Summit on Friday when the Collingwood Snow Blades take on the St Kilda Snowshoes.
Hit the slopes before the Grand Final on Saturday and stop at the Race Squad Clubhouse for a snag at the fundraiser BBQ, or stuff yourself at the Snowbird with their all-you-can-eat lunch special. The Grand Final action will be screened at Swindlers, The General Store, Snowbird, DP Hotel and Rundles so get amongst the atmosphere and cheer loudly!
Get your camera out, capture all the fun and enter your favourite photo into the Spring Carnival Photo Competition. Is it you and your friends riding the park, Harry dancing at the Big D or a snapshot of Footy Madness? Whatever your favourite Spring Carnival moment, share it with Hotham.
All you need to do is setup an account on Hotham’s Online Community and upload your photo to the gallery. There is a Hotham Prize Pack to be won.

For the Kids
Kids can see their favourite Snowdragon, Harry, on Wednesday and Saturday at the Big D at 4pm for his live show full of singing, dancing and prizes. Kids’ movie night is Thursday and Coraline will be screening at 6.30pm. Kids looking for a thrill should check out Kids Snowmobiles at the top of Big D, running everyday, at a special Spring Carnival price of only $10 for 15 minutes!
Thursday is Harry Day! Run into Pinnacle for your own set of Harry wings, ears or tail. If you’re caught sporting Harry gear on the slopes, you’ll win a special Hotham prize pack! Guest Services is running a Harry colouring competition and Harry will be out and about on the slopes during the Carnival. Snap yourself in a photo with him, upload it to your FaceBook page and tag Harry Snowdragon!
