Draft Alpine Resorts Strategic Plan
The alpine resort community, industry and visitors are invited to have their say on the future of Victoria’s six alpine resorts as part of a review of the Alpine Resorts Strategic Plan (The Alpine Resorts 2020 Strategy) by the Alpine Resorts Co-ordinating Council (ARCC).
Victoria’s alpine resorts are special and unique places – visited by more than 1.2 million people per year and contributing over $600 million and 6,200 jobs to the Victorian economy in Winter alone for 2011. This Plan sets the framework for the investment, promotion, management and use of the resorts to ensure that they continue to be vibrant, growing and sustainable places.
A fact sheet on the draft Alpine Resorts Strategic Plan 2012 is attached.
Get involved in helping shape the future of Victoria’s Alpine Resorts, consultation now happening! Consultation will run for a five week period from Opening Weekend (9-11 June 2012) until 16 July 2012.
