THERE HAS BEEN NO DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR INFRASTUCTURE
Currently there is NO immediate fire threat to Mt Hotham Village.
The ‚ÄėHarrietville ‚Äď Alpine North Fires‚Äô remain classified as ‚Äėgoing‚Äô and are continuing to spread.¬†
Fire behaviour remains quite mild, but is continuing to expand along active fronts.  Whilst activity has been subdued over the last two days,  increasing wind speed, higher temperatures and reduced humidity are of concern.  Current humidity currently stands at 55%  with wind speed at 10kmh from the ESE.
Winds are expected to turn more northerly on Monday morning, with increasing intensity.  Monday is forecast as 'sunny at first' with cloud increasing and the risk of a shower or thunderstorms Monday afternoon.
There have been no additional lightning strikes on Blue Rag Range today, however a thunderstorm warning has been issued by the 'Bureau Of Meteorology' for Monday afternoon and evening in the Alps - which may cause further lightning ignitions.
The main fronts within the 'Davenport Catchment' continue their progress and spread within the 'Dargo National Park'.   Fire intensity is increasing near 'Table Top Mountain' west of 'Dinner Plain Track'. (see below for map of Table Top Mountain' locale)
Today crews  patrolled 'Blue Rag Range' and 'Kings Spur' and were 'blacking out' hotspots.
Crews have completed significant defensive preparations around 'Dinner Plain Village', including a bull-dozer ‚Äėcontrol-cut‚Äô right around the SE perimeter to protect private assets - CFA are monitoring and maintaining crews levels as circumstances dictate.
CFA/DSE Control Strategies;
Continue to monitor and protect 'Mt Hotham Resort', 'Dinner Plain Village' and other assets from fire.
Back burning at Mt Murray has been put on hold and fire activity in this area is being monitored before a decision on further back burning is made the 'Dinner Plain' area
The 'Dinner Plain Track' has been strengthened and 'back burnt' to 'Mayford Spur'.  The 'Blue Rag Range Track' has been strengthening and completed to 'Wongungurra River'.
Ground Crews and aircraft will be redeployed to new fire starts as circumstances dictate..
Both roads to the 'Hotham Village' are closed under direction of the 'Incident Control Coordinator' in 'Swifts Creek'. ¬†The GAR to Harrietville Road is designated as ‚ÄėClass A‚Äô closure ‚Äď strictly no access (due to the high risk of burnt 2003-fire-killed Alpine Ash above the road falling down onto the road). ¬†¬†¬†The GAR from Dinner Plain toHotham Heights is designated ‚ÄėClass B‚Äô closure - for Emergency Fire and Essential Services use only. ¬†Both approaches are expected to remain close for several weeks.
