Great snow conditions and 75cm of fresh snowfalls in the last two weeks means Hotham will open Gotcha Chairlift today for the first time in the 2010 season, giving access to some key runs on this extreme skiing zone.
Gotcha Access, Greenline and Initiation are groomed and ready for action.
With the addition of Gotcha, Hotham now has nine lifts turning providing more terrain for guests to access.
Light snowfalls are predicted throughout the day falling down to 1500m. Up to another 5cm is predicted to fall on Sunday.
