The snow has set in!

The snow has set in!

We’ve seen 19cm of snowflakes fall in 48 hours and the snow clouds don’t look like letting up anytime soon!

With a natural snowdepth of 75cm and over 112cm in snow making areas, the skiing and boarding is an absolute treat. The Drift t-bar opened last week, bringing Hotham’s total number of lifts open to eight.

All this fresh snow has allowed the Summit Terrain Park to open for the first time this season, so all four freestyle facilities at Hotham are accessible to our guests today.

Check out the features in the terrain parks at the Summit, Basin and Big D or try your hand on our Rider Cross Course that runs under the Roadrunner Chair.

The snow clouds are predicted to hang around the resort until tomorrow afternoon. Let’s hope they can throw out some more snow and we can get to the 50cm of fresh that was predicted earlier in the week!

Stay tuned for snow report updates and keep your eyes posted on our snowcams.
