More than 2000 people set up their picnics and joined in the fun of the Geebung Polo Match on Easter Sunday.
Held at Hotham Airport, this was the 21st anniversary of the event which sees the City (Cuff and Collar) Team go head to head with the Country (Cattlemen) team. The 2010 event resulted in a win by the Cuff and Collar team with nine goals to the Cattlemen's six.Â
The first ball of each chukka (quarter period) was thrown in by new local resident, Kirstie Marshall, MP OAM.
A full schedule of activities was enjoyed by guests including whip cracking, live music, running races, tug-o-war, frozen chook throwing, fashions on the field, jumping castle and the Easter egg drop from a helicopter.
