An Opening Weekend with no snow, great fun!! Always plenty to do and see at Hotham

What a weekend we are having, with the Hon Tim Holding MP, Minister for Tourism and Major Events, launching the 2008 season at Mt Hotham, opening Hotham's Waste Water re-use plant and visiting Silver Brumby Hut.

If that wasn't enough, Hotham really turned it on for all our visitors, with parties, bands, DJ Eddy, Black Ties balls this list goes on and on. It was fantastic to see everyone out enjoying the great weather and scenery.

The weather has been kind for all festivities during Saturday and Sunday, although some cloud has closed in this afternoon, providing a definite wintery feel. While all our guests have been enjoying the 'great' weather during the last week, the snowmakers have been grumbling a bit, with not many windows of opportunity to make snow. Don't despair, Bureau of Met are predicting some possible snow on Thursday night....fingers crossed.
