Snowsports Industries of Australia (SIA) demo expo at Mount Hotham

On the 3rd of September Snowsports Industries of Australia (SIA) will start their demo expo at Mount Hotham.

The demo expo will showcase up to 20 brands of skis, snowboards and bindings across three big days allowing retailers to try a wide variety of different model skis and snowboards. The expo is the first to be held at Mount Hotham in over five years.

Company wholesalers have come from as far as Queensland and South Australia to have their products trialed by retailers, snow schools and hire company’s.
Big brands such as atomic and Salomon have stalls but all stock is purely for trial use only.

“The turn out is slightly up on last year” one wholesaler said while another wholesaler Andy claimed that “from a Victorian point of view the turn out is going really well.”

Trial gear has no restrictions and the wholesalers are all very approachable. The demo expo will draw to a close on Wednesday afternoon.
