Hotham has been blanketed in around 25cm to 30cm of fresh dry snow since Saturday, and it is still snowing lightly. The Resort really looks like a 'White Winter Wonderland' - I am allowed to say that now as it is still Autumn. (Marketing Rule N0. 102 - 'White Winter Wonderland' shall not be used to describe a snow covered resort at any time during the official ski season.)

Families have been having a blast building snowmen, and of course traditional snow ball fights have been fun for all. There are even a few hardy souls getting a few early turns in on the ski runs.

Temperatures have stayed very cold, reaching a chilly -5.4C overnight and still hovering around -4C.

The Village looks fantastic so come up and take in the alpine scenary while enjoying a coffee at the General or Zirky's. The road has been a little slippery so take care and chains must be carried at the moment.
