Green season activities at Hotham

Mt Hotham will once again host some great events and activities over the green season.

COOL SUMMER FESTIVAL

The Cool Summer Festival will be held from Friday Feb 27th - Sunday March 1st in 2009. The festival is three days of music and indulgence, on two stages in the middle of nowhere, with the luxury of everything.

BEYOND HOTHAM

Beyond Hotham will also return and is being held from April 3 - 7 2009. Beyond Hotham is an exceptional 4WD experience with something for everyone to enjoy. DP FESTIVAL OF CYCLING

You can also enter the DP Festival of Cycling held from March 7 – 9 2009. Come and experience alpine road cycling at its best. Enjoy the thrill of the descent along the Great Alpine Road, and the challenge of returning to Dinner Plain through some of Australia’s most spectacular scenery. EASTER

From the 10 - 13 April next year, Easter is one of the traditional weekends at Hotham and Dinner Plain, with plenty to do for the entire family. CHAIRLIFT RIDES

The Summit Chair will be open 29 Dec - 4th Jan & 10 - 13 April between 10.30am - 3.30pm for what some argue is the most scenic chairlift ride in the country, right up to an altitude of 1,845m. Cost: One Way $5, Return $10, One Day Unlimited $20, for more info phone (03) 5759 4444.

GEEBUNG POLO MATCH

The Geebung Polo Match takes place in Cobungra (about 30km past Hotham and 20km past Dinner Plain) and is the biggest polo match in the Southern Hemisphere. For more info - (03) 5759 4444
