Nearly 30cm of fresh at Hotham yesterday.

25cm of fresh snow and still coming down!

Winter is here at Hotham with a huge 25cm snowfall recorded for the past 24 hour period. Weather conditions are wintery and snow continues to fall as predicted.

Yesterday was a big day at Hotham with new snow, first lifts opening for Winter 2008 and beginner snowsports lessons commencing. The first lift has opened at Dinner Plain and at Hotham the Big D, Summit Trainer and Upper Playground lifts are running with the summit and Playground lifts on standby.

Snowsports lessons will also commence at Hotham and Dinner Plain today. Beginner lessons are available at Big D for kids (Kids Klub and Mighty Mites ½ or full day lessons). Adult beginner lessons are available at Hotham Central. Private lessons will also be available for beginners.
