First snow falls for the season

10 cm of snow at Hotham!

Mt Hotham received 10 cm of snow overnight, resulting in a white resort...snow is predicted to fall for the rest of today and tomorrow (Saturday 14th June) as well.

The temperature is hovering is around -2 degrees at the moment. Both the Summit and Big D lifts are on standby and the Ski Company will endeavour to open the runs as soon as there is a sufficient base. Watch this space for details! Hopefully we'll be taking our first turns for 2008 in the next week.

Snowmaking continues as well and there is more than enough snow for snow ball fighting and snowman making so the bring the kids up for a look!
