The Hotham Snowsports Centre is home to a range of specialty programs to make sure your kids are challenging themselves on the snow.
When:Â 9 - 14 July 2012, 6 or 12 day program (minimum numbers required).
What: 6 hours instruction each day focused on Hotham’s natural terrain. Spend time in the park and on the bumps.
Includes two video sessions and lunch.
Level: Hot Shot Level Park and Freeride
Price: $130 per day, $780 for 6 day school holiday program or $1,500 for 12 day program (lift ticket additional).
When: 5 consecutive Saturdays starting 21 July 2012Â @ 9am.
What: Hone your skills for the ski/boarder cross track, park and master the whole mountain. This program will get your kids tearing down the boarder cross track, competing and performing in park based competitions and ripping up the mountain. Â
For 11-17 year olds. Open to intermediate/advanced skiers/riders
Price: $425 per person for the 5 Saturdays or $281 with a valid lift ticket.

Launching this winter is the Hotham Snowboard Club, 'Hotham Snowboarders'. Open to competent young snowboarders between the ages of 10 and 17, the season program will run for 29 days (all weekend and the Victorian July school holidays) and develop Hotham's up and coming snowboarders in racing and terrain park disciplines.

The Australian Ski Areas Association recommends the wearing of helmets for skiing and riding, and encouraged you to educate yourself on the benefits and limitations of helmet usage.
All guest participants in what is generally known as Kids and Children’s Snowsports School Programs be required to wear an accredited ski or snowboard helmet, and that there be no opt out facility or ability by a parent or guardian.Â
All guest participants, of whatever age, in Snowsports School or other resort departments such as Resort Team or Winter Sports Clubs, which involve or include terrain parks, pipes, skier/boarder cross and/or race courses be required to wear an accredited ski or snowboard helmet.
