Adult Specialty Programs

Love a challenge? Be apart of one of Hotham's specialty programs and really improve your skiing and boarding!

 

Black Diamond Workshops

Hotham’s extreme zones can challenge the best skiers and riders. Join in a black or double black diamond workshop as part of a standard group lesson. Learn tips to master trees, bumps, powder or the park.
When: Daily at 1.30pm. Cost: $56

L’Oreal Women’s Week - Ski 

When: 19 - 23 July 2010
What: 4 hours of daily instruction in a supportive environment with other women. Enjoy optional sessions on makeup with L’Oreal, women’s equipment, fitness and tuning. Enjoy a 1/2 hr massage at Hotham’s White Spa (included in price, must be prebooked).
Level: Intermediate (Level 4/Blue) or above. Minimum 4 pax.
Price: $900 (including lift ticket); $650 (with a valid lift ticket)

Ski to Instructor Level

When: 23 - 27 August 2010
What: Ski with our Australian Ski Demo Team Member and APSI Level 2 Trainer/Examiner, Andrew Dean. Program includes 4 hours instruction per day, video analysis, teaching progressions, demonstrations and ski improvement. A great entry point to become an instructor!
Price: $600 (lift ticket additional)

Skimetric Program

Designed to fine tune all your equipment to suit your specific needs, this personalised half day program includes on-slope analysis, alignment, personal instruction and more. Check it out and be the best that you can be on the slopes – you won’t be able to blame your equipment any more!
Price: $595 for 3 hour analysis and private alignment program.

Hotham Race Squad

Whether you’re at Hotham for a long or short stay, check out the Hotham Race Squad who can also assist in achieving your snowsports goals. Programs are available for kids and adults to get involved in ski racing, take your talents to the next level or just develop your skiing.

Helmets

The Australian Ski Areas Association recommends the wearing of helmets for skiing and riding, and encouraged you to educate yourself on the benefits and limitations of helmet usage.

All guest participants in what is generally known as Kids and Children’s Snowsports School Programs be required to wear an accredited ski or snowboard helmet, and that there be no opt out facility or ability by a parent or guardian. 

All guest participants, of whatever age, in Snowsports School or other resort departments such as Resort Team or Winter Sports Clubs, which involve or include terrain parks, pipes, skier/boarder cross and/or race courses be required to wear an accredited ski or snowboard helmet.
