Harrietville
Open very extensive hours with Australia’s largest range of rental snowchains. Resort Entry Easy Access kiosk, Toilets, Café, security carparking with Mt Hotham transport departure point and Equipment tuning workshop.
Hotham Village Centre
located in the main day carpark where the village bus stops. Open longer hours than any other snow sports store on mountain.
Jackfrost
New, larger store in the lodge precinct adjacent to car unloading zone and the bus stop. Closest rental location to Big D Kids Ski School.
Dinner Plain
The largest corner shop on the main road in the shopping precinct. Car parking available, adjacent to the Hotham/DP bus stop.
Mobile Chain Service
Located on the Harrietville approach this service moves to the current chain fitting/removal location. This service is offered FREE when you hire your chains from Hoys.
All of our stores are open until midnight Friday and late on Saturday and Sunday.

When driving to Mt Hotham, for the vast majority the Harrietville approach is the fastest way. Snowchains are compulsory for ALL vehicles including 4WDs. Hoy’s Harrietville store is staffed by Australia’s indisputable snowchain experts and stocks the largest range of rental snowchains in Australia. Further we provide an exclusive mobile chain service which provides FREE fitting and removal for our chain hire customers on the Harrietville approach to Mt Hotham. Hoys are the only operators on mountain who will help you in the event of snowchain problems in either resort.

To facilitate rapid and easy hiring, exchanging and returning of equipment, Hoys have invested in a new computerised Wintersteiger “easy rent” system. This will allow faster service and for returning customers, the ability to easily rehire their favorite equipment.
