With three convenient locations in Hotham Central, Jack Frost and Dinner Plain there is no better place to hire your equipment.

Hiring through Hotham Sports means that you don't have to carry your gear up and down the mountain. We offer unparalleled service, whether you want to buy, hire, swap or repair your equipment.

The highly trained team at Hotham Sports will fit you out in the latest equipment, designed specifically for your level. Whether you are a first timer or a seasoned expert there is a ski or snowboard equipment package to suit you.

Hotham Sports ensures you have the best fitted equipment. If you have any problems with your equipment please visit any Hotham Sports outlet for assistance.

Please Note: There is no equipment hire available at Big D / Kids Snowzone - please ensure you hire your equipment at one of the other Hotham Sports locations prior to registering your child at snowsports school. Lift Packages including hire include either skis, boots & poles or snowboard & boots.

If your hardest decision is whether to ski or board, Hotham Sports has the answer with their ‘swap your gear’ option. Switch between ski or snowboard gear for just $10 per swap. Available at any Hotham Sports outlet, subject to availability and sizes.

Equipment Hire Process

Register to hire online before you arrive and simple drop in to any one of our Hotham Sports locations or Zirky's Premium Hire and pick up your gear.
 
STEPS TO REGISTER YOUR HIRE ONLINE (SAVE TIME!)
Step 1. FILL OUT YOUR ONLINE FORM:

Step 2. PRINT YOUR RECEIPT AND TAKE TO A HOTHAM SPORTS ON-MOUNTAIN OUTLET:
When you arrive in Hotham, take your printed receipt to the registration desk at one of the three Hotham Sports outlets located at Hotham Central, Jack Frost or Pinnacle DP (Dinner Plain).
Step 3. Go to Step 2 of the on-Mountain Rental procedure (outlined below).

STEPS ONCE YOU ARE AT HOTHAM
Step 1. FILL OUT REGISTRATION FORM:
- Fill out a rental contract. One per person. 
- Rental Forms are available at each hire outlet or Guest Services.
Step 2. GO TO THE REGISTRATION DESK IN HOTHAM CENTRAL OR THE CASHIER DESK AT JACK FROST OR PINNACLE DP: 
- Make sure you have signed the back of your rental contract.
Step 3. BOOT FIT:
- A Hire Attendant will assist in measuring and fitting.
Step 4. SKIING OR BOARDING:
- Whether you are hiring skis or a board, your Hire Attendant
will fit your skis or board to your height and ability.
Step 5. CLOTHING AND TOBOGGANS:
- If you require pants, a jacket or helmet, a Hire Attendant will
assist you in getting the right sized clothing for you.
Step 6. CASHIER:
- Please keep your receipt and rental contract slip for when you
return your hired equipment.
Step 7. RETURNING EQUIPMENT: 
- When returning your gear, please go to the Return Counter.
- Please give your rental contract slip to the Hire Attendant to
check off against your equipment.

If you have any problems with your equipment please return to any Hotham Sports Outlet or to Zirky's Premium Hire for assistance.

Custom bootfitting solutions are avaliable from Zirky's Premium Hire. Appointments necessary.

Ski/Board Repairs

Is your own ski or board equipment slightly damaged? Feeling a bit slow or sticky and could do with a wax? A range of services are available that will increase the longevity of your equipment and make your skiing or riding experience a whole lot more enjoyable. Simply call into 'Base and Edge' at Hotham Sports in Hotham Central for a wax, full tune or repair.
