Top 5 tips for learning to ski/snowboard as an adult (if you’ve never skied/snowboarded before)

  1. Get a little bit of fitness before you go to the snow to enhance the learning experience and maximize your time on the snow

  2. Make sure you have the correct equipment for the snow. The brochures all show sunny days however it can be snowing and cold so you need the appropriate equipment

  3. Take a package deal from the resort which includes all your gear/lift access as well as a series of lessons.  This is the cheapest way to go to the snow the first time

  4. Don’t be afraid of falling and have a go.  It is part of the experience and you will find you advance more quickly with a good attitude

  5. Stay on the appropriate terrain for your ability
