Cool Summer Festival 2013

Cool summer Festival will be held in Mt Hotham on the weekend of the 22nd - 24th February 2013.
Three days of music and indulgence on two stages in the middle of nowhere with the luxury of everything.

Awaken your senses with this one-of-a-kind music festival set in a beautiful alpine meadow. The sixth annual Cool Summer Festival is fast approaching and those in the know are hot under the collar at the thought. Held at Mt Hotham, this festival boasts fabulous music, 360 degree views, fresh air and endless rolls of misty mountains in every direction. Workshops, market stalls and delicious local produce allow guests to indulge their senses all weekend long.

Cool Summer Festival grew out of two mates who lived in the north-east of Victoria, reminiscing over a glass of wine about how festivals used to be. As a result, the festival boasts low security, BYO alcohol, cheap tickets, free entry for kids and a whole bunch of great Australian musicians.

This time round, Cool Summer Festival is being headlined by rocking Aussie sisters Stonefield, Triple J unearthed favourites Loon Lake and Eagle and the Worm, Melbourne duo Dune featuring Jade McCrae and awesome rockers Kingswood, with other fantastic festival favourites Lloyd Spiegel, The Miserable Little Bastards and the Perch Creek Family Jug Band among many, many more

Camping is available at Whiskey Flat, a fantastic flat stretch of ground in among the snow gums, with a free shuttle bus to get campers to and from the main stage all weekend. As usual, festival goers can also make the most of the boundless accommodation options around the village – from cozy alpine lodges to luxurious apartments usually enjoyed by the snow set in winter.

Early bird tickets are on sale now for $82.50+bf, with camping $93.50+bf and kids 16 and under are free. Visit www.coolsummerfestival.com
