With all lifts operating it has been a busy couple of weeks up here with some great skiing and riding across the resort. The pick of the runs thus far this season would have to be Keogh's, Zirk's and Snake Gully for advanced & Intermediate sliding. Blue Ribbon was groomed this week and is also very popular amongst Hotham faithfuls as a great place to shelter from the weather or discover the odd powder stash! I found time this week to trial a new product on offer up here this season, the Ski-Metric Program. Ski-metric is offered by long-time student of skiing Bert Leibetseder and is essentially an integrated on-snow and equipment set-up program that aims to have you discovering the 'sweet spot' in your skiing with every turn. After three hours with Bert both skiing with exercises that took me back to my days in ski school and in Zirky's rental shop we discovered that with a left leg several degrees out and a right leg out a little I would benefit from some boot adjustments. The result? I now can't blame my turns on my equipment any longer! Happy Turns....Belinda

BT - I've seen you ski and there certainly wasn't anything wrong - you've just got to try and keep up with your little bro!
