A fun morning on the slopes this morning - although the visibility was fairly limited, the snow was soft with plenty of spring and there were lots of people on the slopes making the most of last weeks good snowfall. We took the kids for a slide which is always fun, especially when they are accompanied by both their grandfathers, Uncle & Aunt - skiing is such a great multi-generational pursuit! Whilst we didn't last all that long, fun was had by all capped off by a suberb coffee at Swindlers!

Our team at MHSC are looking forward to another terrific winter after a busy summer preparing the resort for the new season. We recently took delivery of a brand new PB400 free groomer which no doubt will be popular amongst our groomer drivers as they take to the slopes (hopefully in the very near future with snow on the radar!).

With all lifts operating it has been a busy couple of weeks up here with some great skiing and riding across the resort. The pick of the runs thus far this season would have to be Keogh's, Zirk's and Snake Gully for advanced & Intermediate sliding.

Great news for Hotham guests, Heavenly Valley will open tomorrow after consistent snowfalls and some good snowmaking oppoprtunities over the past week have allowed our grooming team to build the path from the unload to Milky Way and Imagine. Both Imagine and Snake Gully will be groomed and ready for opening from 8.30am tomorrow

The last 48 hours at Hotham has brought more than 29cm of new snow to the resort. The natural snow depth is now at 29 cm and the snowdepth in the snowmaking areas is 35cm. The exciting news for our guests is that we are able to open 6 lifts today including, Big D, Summit Trainer, Playground Chair to the midload and Cobungra Platter, Summit Quad and Roadrunner are on windhold but are expected to open when the wind eases.

With school holidays starting here in Victoria tomrorow we at Hotham are gearing up for guests to arrive over the next few days...thankfully Huey is doing his bit and pounding the resort with wind and light snowfalls. Snowmaking overnight was limited but conditions are expected to improve over the weekend ahead of the next cold front due mid-week next week.
