Feral Predator Control Program - Update 02/12/04

Parks Victoria, in conjunction with Mt Hotham Resort Management are undertaking a Fox control program in the Mt Hotham Resort and adjoining National Park.
The program aims to protect the nationally endangered Mountain Pigmy-possum (Burramys parvus) and other native fauna. Ongoing Burramys surveys will be conducted to monitor the program’s effectiveness.
10-80 Fox-Off Poison Baits will be used within the resort as part of the Feral Predator Control Program.
The baiting program commences Saturday 11 December 2004 and will be ongoing. Bait placements will be from Mother J’s Ticket Gate right through to Buckland Ticket Gate.
Please note:
- Unrestrained pets may be a risk.
- Unauthorised dogs are not permitted within the Resort
- For registered dog owners, please keep your dog on a leash at all times
- Do not disturb the sand bait stations
