The 22nd Mount Hotham Hammer Mogul Challenge was held last week

The Mount Hotham Hammer Mogul Challenge was a great success last weekend.

The first Hotham Hammer was implemented 22 years ago by two avid and passionate mogul skiers Martin Rowley ( MHFS President & Director of Programs)  and David Speirs (Events Manager at Mt Buller and SSA Chairman of Freestyle Committee).

The years have rolled by and now the next generation of hot young mogul skiers threw down the hammer to unleash some incredible turns and big air, with exciting duals on course located on Peach Bowl!

With great weather, awesome snow conditions, an amazing course, these talented athletes turned on a spectacular show for the spectators as they were able to watch the finest young mogul skiers in the country go head to head in duals to the very end. (not without a few epic crashes!!)

The Hotham Hammer is a registered SSA Free Style event and is listed on the National Free Style Calendar. This week it was great to see many of these Hotham skiers standing rightfully on the winning podium after competing in the SSA Interschools Mogul Competition held at Mt Buller.
