Learn to Ski & Snowboard at Hotham this spring!

Get ready to hit the slopes as Learn to Ski and Snowboard Week kicks off at Hotham from 12-18 September, offering new skiers and snowboarders an affordable first time snow trip in the perfect setting to develop a passion for snow sports!

Learner areas are in ideal condition for new skiers and boarders to develop their skills. Learn to Ski and Snowboard Week allows new skiers and snowboarders to connect with others who are new to the snow in a friendly and supportive environment.

‚ÄúThe week focuses on sharing our passion for snowsports with people new to snow, as we were all in the same situation at some stage in our lives, whether we learnt as a child or as an adult‚ÄĚ said Belinda Trembath, General Manager Mt Hotham Skiing Company.¬†

As part of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Week, new riders will receive a discounted beginner lift pass and 2 hour beginner group lesson for just $69 per day, to ensure they feel confident on the slopes. Beginners can add equipment hire for just $30, and ski pants and jacket for only an additional $5 per day.

Hotham is more than equipped to teach beginners the ropes with easy walk-on slopes for adults at the Summit and fantastic kids only area located at the Big D Kids Snowzone, ensuring beginners feel completely comfortable on their first journey up the mountain.

Regular physical activity is well proven to enhance your health, psychological wellbeing and overall quality of life making a snow holiday the perfect choice for the whole family to enjoy, regardless of previous experience on the slopes. There’s also nothing quite like sipping hot chocolates and sharing stories by the fire after a day on the mountain to create fantastic holiday memories!

Packages must be booked in person at Hotham Tickets Office, for those planning a last minute September trip to the mountain a range of accommodation options are still available for the week, visit Hotham Holidays for further details and contact information.
