Hoys Skis has been operating the Hoys A-frame Ski Centre in Harrietville for 20 years and we believe we offer the most hassle-free method of travel up the mountain, getting you on the slopes faster.

Hoys A-frame Ski Centre

Hoys A-frame Ski Centre, located in the center of Harrietville, is your one stop shop. With all the latest in hire equipment, with backup service at our 2 locations on mountain, you can pick up your gear the day before and beat the crowds. (Free roof racks available).

Hoys A-frame Ski Centre is where the Hotham bus departs daily (Snowball Express bus tickets sold onsite) with Security Carparking, toilet facilities and Café, as well as a great selection of hire clothing and retail accessories, including Columbia, Giro, Mambo, Bolle and Everwarm.

Open from 7am till 10 pm every night, and midnight Fridays - call us if you're running late-we'll wait!

Chain Hire

When you hire your chains from Hoys, we try them on your car, then send you up to the snowline, where our friendly staff put them on your car for Free, while you stay warm and dry. The Mt Hotham Snow Chain Service operates whenever chains are required to be fitted, moving up and down the Great Alpine Road between Harrietville and Mount Hotham Village. The Snow Chain Service operates Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to midnight and Sunday 8am to 7pm.

Hoys offer 20% off Adult ski and board hire at any Hoys Shops when chains are hired from us - offer extends to anyone hirer nominates in party.

Hoys opened a new shop in 2003 behind the Resort Management Board Office just off the Day Carpark. This new shop nicknamed "The Shed" incorporates the Mt Hotham Board Shop with ski and chain hire available. Offering exceptional service, staffed by dedicated Hotham riders and mad keen skiers. Our gear is terrific with emphasis on the individual, catering for all sizes, foot shapes and snow experience levels.

We stay open late every night of the week and till midnight Fridays & Sundays.

Hoys Dinner Plain Ski Shop

Hoys are superbly located in the hub of DP, in the front of the famous Dinner Plain Hotel. This extends Hoys ability to offer our legendary equipment and service including brand new crosscountry equipment and snowshoes. Our staff will help Hoys customers with any chain problems, plus offer our great discount chains/skis/boards packages-with all gear interchangable at any of our shops (The Dinner Plain bus stops within 10 metres of our Hotham shop).

Offering a range of Bolle, Everwarm thermal products, retail walking boots plus great headwear, gloves, helmets, sox ect. We focus on family holiday needs plus the latest Premium and Demo skis and boards available for hire to challenge and improve your skills.
